The program objectives of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics are as follows.
1. To provide the ability to apply, evaluate, interpret, problem-solve and make decisions based on professional knowledge.
2. To determine the nutritional status of individuals using appropriate tools.
3. To prepare the appropriate medical nutrition treatment for the patient in case of illness, to educate and monitor the patient on how to apply this nutritional treatment.
4. To plan the appropriate menu for the institution in institutions where mass nutrition is provided, to ensure the presentation of healthy food by following all stages from purchasing to presentation.
5. To train dietitians who are prone to teamwork as part of the health team, have the awareness of lifelong learning, follow professional developments, have the necessary foreign language and technological skills for this, are questioning, can conduct research in their own field of study and are committed to ethical values.
